Evan...

My little nephew Evan Caleb McConnachie was born on September 14th 8lbs 9oz. My sister-in-law had him by C-section so sometimes the baby will inhale or swallow mucous, well he did so he was sent to the NICU. They also discovered that his lungs weren't quite mature enough so they put him on a ventilator. So on top of being on a vent he acquired pneumonia which set him back a bit. Finally he gets off the vent but he isn't eating like he should because he is just not feeling good, oh and he has jaundice (what else can go wrong!). After about two weeks in the NICU he is finally able to go home to be with his family. He looked so out of place being there with all the babies that weighed half of what he did. He is home now doing great, eating alot and getting lots of attention from his brother and sister.

Grand Cayman

Here is a clip from our honeymoon. One of our stops on the cruise ship was Grand Cayman Islands. We went with a group over to Stingray City to swim with the stingrays and then over to the coral gardens to snorkel a bit. This video shows me freak out a bit with the stingrays. When they know you have food they get pretty "pushy". When I wasn't looking one came up on my left side practically climbing up my side for some food. Its funny hope you enjoy!

Our day at Temple Square

When my mom came to town for the wedding Jordan and I decided to take her out to dinner and to see the Joseph Smith movie for her birthday. We took a walk through temple square together which was really nice. We went to Bucca di Pepo's, which I highly recommend if you like Italian food. They have a room there for big parties that has the Pope's head rotating in the middle of the table, way cool. :0)

A little about the past couple months

So I'm in my second semester of nursing school (yah! I made it!!) and I am already sick of it! I feel like I am busier this semester, maybe it's because Im married now who knows. Last semester I thought for sure I wasn't going to pass pharmacology and I am in the same boat this time. But I'm sure I will pass, at least I hope so! So a little about whats been happening the past couple months: I got married August 15th. Awesome! Then we left on the 16th for Florida, which was a LOOONNGGG flight! UGGG... So we stayed in a little motel in Ft. Lauderdale that night, got up the next day and headed out for Miami where our cruise ship awaited. We almost got caught up in Tropical Storm Fay but luckily we missed it! So we went to the Caribbean, it was sooo fun! I will try and post some of our video on here for all to see. Anyway Texas Roadhouse awaits me!
